About Kathryn

Hi! My name is Katie, and I'm a student at UC Santa Cruz majoring in Environmental Studies. I've always loved learning, especially in math and science, and I enjoy helping others feel more confident in these subjects. Even though I'm just starting out with tutoring, I've had plenty of experience supporting classmates and friends, and I know how valuable it is to have someone explain things in a clear, patient way. As a student myself, I understand how stressful school can get. I hope to create a comfortable, encouraging space where questions are always welcome. My goal is not just to help with homework or test prep, but also to make learning less intimidating and maybe even fun! I'm dependable, easy to work with, and I really care about helping students succeed.
