About Kathryn

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During my time there my coursework included several child development and education courses. I've held a handful of jobs, and the reason I have returned to nannying because caring for and working with children is my true passion. I had an amazing experience working with the first family I assisted, and I still maintain a great relationship with the children. I would describe my personality as sweet, kind, warm, and friendly. I'm also intelligent, creative, and curious. It's important to me to maintain a positive attitude and fun demeanor. My strengths include organization, patience, time management, and creativity. My philosophy for working with children is a child-centered approach, meaning prioritizing the child's individual needs, interests, and perspectives. I also like to incorporate play-based learning when appropriate.
