I currently am working in the healthcare field as a health aide. I help seniors stay healthy and comfortable at home. I provide personal services like running errands, bathing, dressing, and grooming. 10 years ago, I was a nanny for two children, ages 6 and 10. I have babysat young children and toddlers in the past as well. Although I have not worked with children recently, my skills as a home health aide are very transferable. I recently completed a program and have been certified as an Advanced Newborn & Infant Toddler Specialist. I also volunteer in the nursery at the church I attend. Although I've been working with adults, I'm looking for a change of pace to allow me to work with a younger generation.

Kathryn has cared for our 28 year old disabled daughter for one year. She is caring and patient. Our daughter has CP and intellectual disabilities (cognitively ~age 4) and Kathryn has brought such joy to our daughter. She has taken her to physical therapy, horseback riding and worked with her at home on her chores including doing her laundry, and emptying the dishwasher. Kathryn engaged our daughter in various activities, playing games, reading and doing art.
