About Kathryn

As first-time parents, we knew we wanted to have a nanny to ease my transition back to work, but we could not have predicted just how lucky we were to meet Katie. After having Katie be a part of our lives for 2 years, we can honestly say without a doubt that we hit the nanny jackpot. From the first moment she met our son, we felt instantly comfortable with her and knew we didn't need to interview anyone else for the job. From baby to toddler, Katie always made sure that our son hit developmental milestones and kept him engaged throughout the day. She has always had a way of calming him down in any situation - it's literally like magic how much her presence soothes him even to this day. When he preferred contact naps, Katie did not skip a beat and would snuggle him as if he were her own. She arrived on-time every day (actually always early) and provided ample notice in advance for personal appointments or trips. She texts pictures throughout the day so we always see his smiling face out on the town. We also quickly grew to know and love Katie's family, including her husband and 5 amazing children who treat our son like their little brother. When we have gone out of town, we felt 150% comfortable with Parker staying at their home overnight and will continue to call Katie when trips come up because we trust her without hesitation. It feels incredible bittersweet to write this review because it means our time with her is coming to an end, but we will be forever indebted to the time, attention, love, and care that she has shown to our baby boy who is now a busy toddler. Whoever is blessed to work with Katie in the future, I know you will soon come to think of her as part of your family too.
