Hi Families! My name is Kathy and my love for children started when I began babysitting kids in my teenage years. As a young adult I received my bachelor's Degree in Art from CSUN. As I continued my scholastic journey, I decided to follow where my heart truly was and got my secondary education in teaching. I worked as a K-12 substitute teacher and a preschool teacher where I enjoyed all the fun energy that toddlers have to offer. During this time, I found out that I would be starting a family of my own. Fortunately, I was blessed to have four children and be a stay home mom. After my kids were a bit older, an opportunity presented itself to run my own catering business with Panera Bread which is where I was till 2018. That was an amazing experience, but I wanted to go back to my roots and passion - caring for children. I have been a full time nanny since 2019 and have enjoyed every minute of it!

Kathy is absolutely amazing! She was with our family for almost 4 years since my daughter was 4 months old and my son was a newborn. We were so sad when it was time to put the kids in preschool. She was able to teach our kids as they grew up and adapted their play as they developed new skills. She always came up with creative ways to keep them engaged from outside play at the park or our house to inside activities and toddler time at the library. She was an invaluable source of support for me as a first-time mom and provided so many tips that helped me as my kids hit different milestones. She was also so helpful with cleaning up after the kids, making lunches and snacks, and offering to do their laundry. Kathy fit right into our family and was always so considerate to make sure we were all on the same page when it came to being consistent in our interactions with the kids. I cannot recommend Kathy highly enough, she will be an amazing addition to any family.
