About Kathy
Experience: 10 yrs
I retired from United States District Court after 37 years of service. I am 1 of 10 children (95 nieces & nephews) and I have raised 5 children. I have 2 grandsons. I love kids! I have cared for many family members over the years, including my mother, my father, my father in law, and siblings. My mother had COPD and my father and three of my brothers had cancer. I also have had dogs. I am also OCD which makes me an awesome house cleaner/organizer. Since my retirement, I have had the opportunity to perform numerous jobs such as taking care of the elderly, childcare, and house keeping. I have cared for several elderly people. One who lived to be 100 and a married couple in which the wife just recently passed away while I was at her side. She suffered from Huey Body Dementia, and Parkinson's disease. I also had the opportunity to care for a sweet 31-year-old autistic girl.

She is our trusted 'go-to' person for everything from personal companionship, to patient advocacy with their assisted living facility staff, to running errands. She also provides us important feedback about my parents' condition which has often resulted in getting them the health care that they needed before the problem was acute! She is the best.
