Kristin applied to our job posting, we scheduled for her to come meet us and babysit for 2 hours. At 5pm the day before, I texted her to confirm our appointment, at 8pm she told me she accepted another job. Maybe it's true, maybe it's not. But there was a gap of 2 days between when we made plans and when she told me she wasn't coming anymore, so unless she got a job between 5pm and 8pm, she knew ahead of time that she was not going to keep her commitment, which is fine, she just should have told me as soon as possible and not wasted 2 days of my time when I could have scheduled with other sitters.
