About Kathy

I like caring for seniors because attentive, responsible, good care is hard to come by. I'm looking for part time work as I transition out of a lengthy career in higher education. My parents had been long term care givers for my grandparents. They relied on family support, senior services, and various stages of hospice care. Having a close relationship with my parents and grandparents allowed me the privilege to observe, learn, and engage with their care. I was most appreciative and impacted by how important the companionship was to my grandparents and how needed the respite support was for my parents. One thing you should know about me is is that you can trust me to have the best interest and safety of your loved one at the center of our time. You can relax and count on me to be attentive to details, be patient, and to engage in correspondence. Transferable skills that stand out are communication, patience; problem solving, ideas generator; empathy and positivity.
