About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie, and I'm a college student finishing up my senior year at Providence College and will be starting graduate school in Boston this fall to begin my journey towards becoming a pediatric SLP. I've had experience working with children in both educational and caregiving settings, including shadowing in an elementary school, which really confirmed my passion for working with kids. I'm responsible, patient, and genuinely enjoy building connections with children of all ages. I love creating a fun, supportive environment, whether that means helping with homework, playing outside, or coming up with creative activities to keep kids engaged. I'm also very attentive to routines, safety, and communication with parents, and I'm happy to help out with light household tasks as needed. I'd describe myself as reliable, caring, and easy to get along with. I'm looking for a family where I can be a positive, trustworthy presence and someone your kids feel comfortable and happy around!
