About Katie

I've been a professional nanny off and on for the past 15 years. Most of my experience is with children ages 6 months to 5 years, where the main focus is on things like exploration of the world around us, language development, healthy eating, and communication skills. I believe that kids deserve just as much respect and autonomy as adults, and allowing kids to have a voice and ask questions helps them learn and grow. I'm also an artist and paint pet portraits in my free time, so I love to incorporate art projects into my time with kiddos. I come from a family of 8 kids and spent a lot of time babysitting my younger brothers. I've also raised both puppies and kittens, so I've been around tiny humans and creatures my entire life! I used Care in 2022 and found some really special families to work with, so I'm looking forward to building more long-lasting relationships again.
