About Katie

Hi, I'm Katie! I'm a nursing student with a strong background in childcare and pediatric healthcare I currently work at a children's hospital, where I care for kids and support families through stressful and emotional situations, which has really strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to stay calm under pressure. Outside the hospital, I have experience babysitting and genuinely love spending time with children, whether that means playing, helping with routines, homework, or just being a safe and reliable presence. I'm responsible, attentive, and very safety-focused, but I also believe childcare should be fun and comforting. I always try to create an environment where kids feel supported, understood, and free to themselves, while making sure parents feel confident and at ease. Working with children is something I'm truly passionate about, and I take the trust families place in me very seriously.
