About Katie

I am a sophomore at the University of Michigan with a strong passion for mathematics and helping others succeed in the subject. Very early I completed all required high school mathematics. I've always helped all my friends with their math homework and studying for tests while also tutoring other high school students weekly. I am very passionate about math and have been told by many that I do an outstanding job explaining it to others and helping them understand concepts. I'm a very outgoing person and find it easy to work with everyone from kindergarteners to college students. I am happy to teach all mathematical subjects through pre-calculus. I like tutoring because I not only love math itself, but also enjoy the challenge of explaining concepts in different ways until they truly click. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student's face light up when they finally understand something that once seemed impossible.
