About Katie

Hi! I'm Katie, a junior at the University of Washington. I spent all 4 years my high-school career as a regular paid babysitter for three families in my town. Once at college, I got a job as an Educator for a before & after school care program at Clyde Hill Elementary School. I am licensed in childcare and CPR certified! I'd describe my personality as compassionate, inclusive, and eager to learn. I'm looking for a job that allows me some flexibility as a pre-medicine student! I would also be happy to take on any tutoring jobs! I started working with kids when I was 13, looking after my neighbor's children. From there, I became a regular sitter as they had more children, and for various other families who had received recommendations. I just finished my recent job at an elementary school in Bellevue, wherein I cultivated curriculum, cared for children, and many other duties. In my spare time, I like to study, read, and write! I also enjoy taking walks with a good playlist.
