About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie, and I'm a certified educator with degrees in Special Education and Early Childhood Education from Messiah University. I have several years of teaching experience working with students of all learning styles and abilities and I specialize in creating individualized, engaging, and supportive learning experiences. Whether your child needs help building foundational literacy and math skills or gaining confidence in their learning, I bring an enthusiastic, encouraging approach that meets them where they are. I've supported students with ADHD, autism, emotional disturbances, and other learning differences, and I believe every child can thrive with the right support. I'm currently available for part-time, in-person tutoring and am happy to partner with families to create a schedule and plan that works best for you.
