About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie. I've been nannying over 10 years with children ranging from newborn to 13 years old. I graduated nursing school and am studying for my LPN state certification exam. I'm up to date on my BLS certification for healthcare professionals. I worked for one family with two children in Northport for over 5 years. I've been a lifeguard and an Assistant Swim Coach for a yacht club for children 5 to 10 years old. Because of my fine art background, I never get tired of arts and crafts. I definitely have a knack and the patience for working with toddlers. I'm most experienced with newborns, infants and toddlers. Some of my favorite activities with children are reading, puzzles, parks, playgrounds, music, library and outside time. I'm very reliable, patient and come with great references. The most important priority to me is your child(ren) and their safety, not my phone which I usually hide from the lil ones.
