About Katie

Hi! I'm Katie, I'm 26 years old and currently in graduate school studying School Psychology. I've had over 3 years of experience working in schools with children and young adults ages 3 to 26. This summer, I'm hoping to work up north before returning to Grand Rapids for my internship in the fall. I have training in child development, social-emotional well-being, and crisis response and prevention. I've worked with children across a wide range of developmental stages, including those with CI, ASD, and social-emotional needs. I'm flexible and happy to adapt to your family's needs, whether you're looking for a structured routine or a more relaxed, play-based pace, I can provide both. I love spending time outdoors, doing crafts, reading stories, and coming up with fun, engaging activities tailored to each child's interests and age. I'm a non-smoker, have transportation, and am great with pets. I'm also happy to help with light tidying or meal prep if that supports your family's routine.
