About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie, and I'm currently a rising senior at the University of Georgia! After college I hope to work closely with the adoption system and foster care reform. I have about 3-4 total years of experience in childcare. I have babysat for many families throughout my time in college so far. I've worked at 2 daycares since high school, caring for kids ranging from infant-after schoolers and recently assisted in teaching a pre-k class! My goal is to positively impact each child's life. I am patient, nurturing, friendly, outgoing, and compassionate. I provide regular updates via text or phone call and always follow the parents' preferred communication method. I am comfortable caring for up to two children and am CPR and First Aid certified. I also have a car and am good around pets! I've been volunteering at Athens Humane Society for a while now!
