My experience is practical, hands on work. I grew up mopping wooden floors by hand in an old farm house and cleaning 7' tall windows. The ceilings were 9' tall in that old house, so I learned to dust ceiling fans properly with an extended handle duster. We had a porcelain claw footed tub, and I learned all about the harm bleach can do to delicate materials like the seal on your porcelain tub. Crown and baseboard molding were common throughout the house, and chair molding was present in the dining room; I'm no stranger to detailed dusting!
