About Katy

Nurturing young minds is more than a job; it's my passion! I have been working as a preschool teacher for the past 5 years, & have extensive experience working with children of all ages in various other capacities including babysitting/ nannying, swim lesson instructing, coaching, & leading summer camps. I also hold current First Aid, CPR, & AED Training certifications. I am a patient, creative, and friendly caregiver. I enjoy sharing my love of the outdoors with children, getting creative with arts & crafts, playing board games or puzzles, & am a big proponent of messy, sensory experiences. I'm happy to assist with light housekeeping, travel, & swimming supervision. Knowing I can positively impact a child's life & support families brings me immense joy. The opportunity to learn alongside children, help foster their curiosity for the world around them, & watch them grow & develop their independence is truly a gift.
