About Katy

Nurturing young minds and supporting families are my passions. I have three years of experience working with kids 2-11, however, I am comfortable with all ages newborn and up. My approach is patient and friendly, creating a safe and stimulating environment for up to two children. I understand the importance of consistency, so I always follow parents' lead when enforcing household rules. Each day, I will provide a report, written or spoken, whatever is preferred, that details my time with your kids. I genuinely enjoy engaging kids with outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities. I find fulfillment in watching children learn and grow, and I hope to bring that same joy to your family. I am also happy to help with light housekeeping. I am presently a sophomore at a college locally in Wilmington. My schedule can be somewhat flexible and I will work with you to adapt to your needs.
