About Kayla

I have a plethora of experiences while tutoring throughout my professional life. Starting in high school, I would host 1 on 1 sessions with peers to better understand material. This was valuable as these were my classmates. They were on the same level as me, and gave me the ability to speak plainly. This also allows for me to revoke judgement no matter the questions asked. It's an opportunity to learn! In college, I thrived in studying material by teaching my peers on new topics. Then my peers could either correct me or verify that I was speaking clearly on a topic. Tutoring is more of a mentorship. Explaining a difficult topic in a new light can be very beneficial to digest the material. I'm most experienced in business and English/reading!
