As a teenager/young adult, I was responsible for stepping up and providing care for my live-in great grandmother who became my best friend. Encouraging physical activity, reminders for medication times, meal preparation, and general companionship. Ever since, I have had a passion for assisting the elderly- I love listening to their life experiences and hearing their stories. I have also volunteered and fundraised for the Alzheimer's Association in memory of my late great grandmother.
