About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla, I have over 7 years of professional childcare experience working with children from infancy through 14 y/o. I am currently seeking a nanny position with one or two children. I've worked in two daycares, most recently for 2 years, where I cared for infants-5-year-olds. After that, I worked as an aftercare teacher at a K-8 school, tutored students in grades K-8, and I now work as an aftercare director for 4th-8th grade. I have also consistently babysat for the past 2 years. I am CPR certified and fully COVID-19 vaccinated. I also prefer that the children in my care are up to date on their routine vaccinations. I have a reliable car and am happy to take children on fun outings, to activities, grocery shopping, or run errands as needed. I am also able to help with light housekeeping and laundry. I received my BA in psychology and education last May. I am now pursuing a career as a child psychologist and will be beginning my doctoral program in the fall.
