About Kayla

Good morning, My name is Kayla and I have been a CNA for a little over a year and was a home health aide for 2 years before that. I am most familiar with taking care of seniors. I have experience with dementia, parkinsons, hospice, and taking care of different types of people as far as sickness and physical wounds go. My most valuable skills concerning senior care are patience with difficult behavior, Creating a routine, being an emotional support to grieving clients, and having the ability to catch or muffle a fall. Something I look for in a job is the ability to negotiate and tolerate boundaries. For example, I am not comfortable with driving a client in my car, but I am comfortable with running errands for client and bringing back a receipt to verify.
