About Kayla

Making a difference in the lives of others is what drives me. For the past eight years, I've dedicated myself to supporting children, adults and seniors with their health and well-being. As a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Home Health Aide, I provide transportation, run errands, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mental health support. I am also trained in CPR, CPI de-escalation, and First Aid. I am currently in nursing school, while also being employed by both OSF and Carle health My specialties are: pediatrics and psychiatry My approach is rooted in empathy and respect I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with patience. I keep families informed through daily reports, verbal updates, and regular texts or phone calls. I am professional, detail-oriented, patient, and calm.
