About Kayla

Hi I'm Kayla! I've babysat and worked with children for 9 years. I've babysat for single child families as well as multiple children. I have experience with special needs children. I am CPR certified for all age levels as well as first aid certified. I am going to college for children's book illustration and have a huge passion in children's development through play and entertainment and love to keep them engaged through fun and enriching activities during the duration of my care. Through my years of in child care I have gained an aptitude in navigating and regulating children's emotions, and adapting through the chaos that comes with little ones. In terms of discipline, I utilize the time out method with a brief discussion after on why the behavior was not acceptable, unless another method is preferred by parents. I use a minute of time out per year of age, though I am flexible in terms of family wants in this area. I look forward to working with your family!
