About Kayla

I'm a certified K-12 elementary teacher with endorsements in Reading, ESOL, and Civics, and I'm currently working toward a Gifted Endorsement. Over the last few years, I've taught both lower and upper elementary students, helping them strengthen their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. That classroom experience has taught me how to meet kids where they are-whether they need extra support, a little confidence, or just someone who believes in them. I'm especially skilled at creating a calm, encouraging space where learning feels achievable and even fun. Through one-on-one support, I aim to help each student feel seen, understood, and proud of the progress they make.
