About Kayla

I believe that all people should be given the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. Whether a person's goal is to pursue more education, obtain meaningful employment (i. e., gain employment where they enjoy what they are doing), or work on building a larger social network, I am dedicated to assisting people in reaching their goals. I have worked with people with special needs in a residential/school setting as well as in more recreational settings (e. g., swimming class, after-school program, etc.). Currently, I am one course away from obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Marist College and I have earned approximately 180 credits, many of which pertain to special education. Safety: I am currently a NYS certified EMT which requires that I am also certified in CPR/AED.
