About Kayla

Hi, I'm Kayla! I'm a certified K-8 teacher with over 10 years of experience in education and childcare. My background includes working as a kindergarten assistant, teaching children with autism, and teaching first grade for four years. I've also spent time in Montessori classrooms, which has given me a well-rounded perspective on different approaches to early learning. I'm especially drawn to working with young children in nannying and early childhood roles, where I can support them in calm, joyful, and developmentally appropriate ways. I love helping kids grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity through play, storytelling, art, and other hands-on experiences. I'm currently seeking part-time opportunities and would bring along my 3-year-old daughter.
