About Kaylena

Hi! My name is Kaylena, and I truly enjoy working with kids and being part of their growth and everyday routines. I've helped care for my younger sister since she was an infant, so I'm very comfortable with babies and young children. I'm currently a junior at Seattle University studying social work because I really want to support children and families in a meaningful way. I'd describe myself as patient, calm, and easygoing. I enjoy keeping kids engaged with things like outdoor play, simple games, puzzles, and activities that help them learn and have fun at the same time. I'm very respectful of household routines and rules, and I make it a priority to communicate clearly with parents so you always feel comfortable and in the loop. I'm also happy to help with meal prep, light cleaning, and anything else related to your child's care. I have First Aid training and always aim to create a safe, relaxed, and positive environment.
