Since 2003, I have been working as a professional nanny and family assistant, primarily in the Connecticut/New York area. The bulk of that time was spent with three families, caring for children from infancy through the early teens. I provide smart, development-focused care with creativity, patience, and affection. Children in my care may learn to play chess, shade with dimension, solve a Rubik's cube, decorate a cake, map a sentence, ride a bike, foster a love of reading, or whatever else the day brings. I am still employed full time with the same family I have been with for the last 12 years, but I am available on weekends and occasional evenings for babysitting, pet care, and home projects. I do organization, holiday decorating/undecorating, and I also give crochet lessons.
