About Kelley

During the school year I am a special education teacher for Chicago Public Schools. I have been a school teacher for six years for students with severe and profound special needs. Before I was a teacher I have done multiple care giving jobs working with children with all different types of needs. I am experienced with positioning, feeding, changing, G-tube feeding, community trips. I am experienced dealing with different and challenging behaviors. I also hold a certification in assistive technology, and did my specialty project while in grad school targeted for kids with the most intensive physical needs. I have a passion for working with persons with special needs and would love to help out over the summer!
