My name is Kelly and I worked with a family of 3 children in Chino as their nanny and house manager for three years until their mom had to quit her job due to personal reasons. Since then, I have been with a family as their part-time nanny for almost five years. Also, I have over 40 years of experience working as a preschool teacher and a nanny with all ages from newborns-teenage years.. I have 12 units in Early Childhood Education and I'm CPR/First Aid certified. I enjoy doing fun activities with them like creating arts and crafts, dancing and singing to music, reading together, and going for walks outside. I also do not smoke and can help with Travel and Cooking/Meal Preparation, homework help, and many other services.

**STOP AND READ BEFORE HIRING** Today is January 16, 2025 - We spoke with Kelly several times and even had a phone interview to confirm the details of the job and ensure she was available. After many conversations, Kelly texted us less than 24 hours (7 PM) before she was supposed to start (8 AM) saying she had accepted another family's offer. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS - THIS IS A PATTERN!! Please think twice before reaching out and save yourself the trouble. 

She seems nice but I haven’t met her. She had an interview with me yesterday and she was fast enough to provide me with references. I was in the process of calling them and I needed more context so I reached out to get more info and in doing so, she then tells me that she accepted another position. I don’t know when she accepted the other position. 
I guess that’s the nature of these jobs, it’s a hot commodity and if someone is willing to hire them faster than you, then you’re out of luck. I also don’t know if she would’ve told me if I didn’t reach out to her…
Not sure about this one but definitely seems like she’s willing to jump wherever is most convenient. 

I was ready to hire Kelly after our phone interview, and loved her even more when we met in person. She has such a loving demeanor with the kids and you can tell truly enjoys what she does. She had crafts and activities for the kids every day and kept them engaged and challenged. I cannot recommend her enough, I promise you won't be disappointed bringing her into your family.

Kelly has been so helpful in taking care of my almost 2 year old even with all his food pickiness, his need for constant cuddles and his need for you to play with him while he's still learning to play independently as well. She also has been flexible in working with my family's unpredictable schedule with my on-call work on a week to week basis and has been understanding when the schedule has not gone as planned. We appreciate all the help and are grateful to have been able to meet her through this site, interview her, and been able to hire her consistently. We will definitely be continuing to use her regularly.

Kelly came and watched our 8 month old daughter, and son, aged 3, last night. They all 3 are a handful, but Kelly was so great with them all!...Amelia, our baby, didn't cry once, and Timothy was kept quiet (!) as Kelly read to him so I could get some work done...I recommend Kelly, she's VERY professional...I'm saying this because I just read the RIDICULOUS review by someone who never even met her. It's LOUSY that Care.com even allows a review from someone who never met the caregiver! Schedules change all the time - she worked for us last night-- she didn't "no show" a job, she just had to cancel a lousy meet and greet. Get a life already petty people, grow up, and stop being so vicious and mean!...Kelly is A1 in our book...and as I see, is so with many other reviewer parents as well.

My husband and I reached out to Kelly, despite some of the unfavorable reviews we read about her dependability. We had pleasant conversations with her and scheduled an in person interview. One day after confirming that she was still available for the interview she cancelled stating that she was accepted for another position. Despite similar feedback, which she has received in past reviews she seems to continue to pursue jobs in an unprofessional and non-transparent fashion. Her lack of professionalism to simply follow through with an interview should not instill confidence in those looking for a dependable, considerate and trustworthy care taker for their child. I would not recommend her services regardless of how she presents on paper.

Since moving to California, Kelly has been the only caregiver outside of our family members that we trust to watch our boys. I was admittedly quite nervous at first however I immediately felt relieved and at ease after meeting Kelly for the first time. She instantly reminded me of my mom. 
She communicated great the many times she has watched the boys (ages 8 and 12) and was also able to stay longer without hesitation when we asked her. She's very attentive and holds a superpower of keeping two boys engaged and entertained. 
I highly recommend Kelly as she has been a joy to our entire family.

Kelly is absolutely lovely. She is a kind soul and I could immediately tell she deeply cares about children. Our kiddos enjoyed spending time with her and told me all about what they did and how much fun they had! I would hire Kelly again in a heartbeat.

Kelly is extremely reliable and will always be on time. I needed her very early in the morning and she was always here on time or slightly early. If you need someone who is punctual and great with kids, she's your gal!!

Kelly is very dependable. She has been with us for almost 2 years and my children love her. I know when she's with them they are safe and in good hands.

My wife and I both spoke with Kelly on the phone, she was very polite and we could tell she was quite experienced, so we felt safe with her looking after our baby girl. She showed up 2 minutes early, was very friendly and immediately "took to" her. We also have 2 cats, Milo and Mook, they quickly warmed up to her. After our night out, we returned home, our daughter was fast asleep, the cats too. ALL good! It's great to know there's wonderful sweet people left in the world, Kelly is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Kelly was with us for almost five years as our part time nanny. She was always kind, caring, and excellent at keeping the girls busy. She always spent the extra effort to provide them with learning opportunities, such as crafts, painting, drawing, or games. She did a great job at doing thoughtful chores around the house to help out. She was also very flexible with her schedule, which we needed and appreciated. We had to part ways due to the girls getting older and not needing as much help. I hope she finds another family that enjoys having her as much as we did.

Kelly promised to have a live interview with us. She "forgot" about it and left us hanging.
That was very unprofessional.
