About Kelly

Caring for children is more than a job for me. It's a passion rooted in my own experience as a single mother raising two children. For 18 years, I've supported families by providing reliable care, managing everything from medical needs to schooling and extracurricular activities. I hold a college degree from UW Madison and am comfortable caring for up to three children of all ages. I also am a substitute teacher for the Desert Sands School District and spent many years tutoring in English, Math and Reading. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I prioritize open communication with parents, using verbal updates, texts, or phone calls based on your preference. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and am CPR certified and first aid certified. I have a car and am comfortable with pets and have 6 of my own.
