I absolutely love dogs! I have had dogs all of my life. My current companion is a 2-year-old Sheltie. This is my fourth Sheltie. I have personally trained all of them. My first Sheltie was trained to go on pet visits with me to a senior care facility. I was involved with the facility on a volunteer basis for approximately 5 and one half years. All of my dogs have been very well trained, so I do have the patience for a puppy. I am looking to check in on a dog during the day while a client is at work. I can also do occasional overnights because I'm a night owl. I'm retired, so I have flexibility. I know how unsettling it can be to leave your dog with a stranger. My dogs have, and always will be treated like one of the family, so you can be sure that your pet will be well-taken care of.
