About Kelsey

Hi! I'm Kelsey, a certified elementary teacher currently teaching fifth grade math, and I'm offering tutoring for students in grades K-6. While I teach math during the school day, I'm currently in graduate school for literacy education. Literacy is something I'm truly passionate about, and I love helping students grow into confident, capable readers and writers. In addition to teaching upper elementary, I also have experience as a first and second grade reading teacher. In that role, I worked closely with students on phonics, fluency, comprehension, and building strong foundational reading skills. I work to make each session feel supportive, engaging, and personalized to each child's needs.
