About Kendall

I'd describe my personality as patient, fun, and easy going. I believe that patience is key when working with children. I like tutoring because I like to work one on one with learners who need special attention in reading, writing, and language. I'm looking for a job with students who need extra help in reading, writing, and language who need one on one attention. I started tutoring in 2024 while working on my Curriculum Masters degree so that I could apply my classroom experience and education in a one on one setting with students. I worked in the classroom as a teacher and teaching lead for 4 years prior to this. In my spare time, I like to crochet, take care of my animals, and read books! One thing you should know about me is that I am very passionate about making sure everyone has access to quality education. Every student is capable of learning and improving! My skills include dyslexia reading skills, phonics, and reading and writing comprehension.
