Hello! I'm a certified teacher, academic coach and lifelong learner who believes that every student has a spark just waiting to be ignited. I truly love what I do--helping students discover their strengths, build confidence and realize that learning can be both fun and rewarding. My tutoring journey began in high school when I found joy in helping my peers tackle tough math problems in exchange for lunch room treats. Since then, I've worked with students from elementary to the college level, specializing in English Language Arts, test prep and college essays. I've also guided students through the college application maze, with most earning spots into top 25 Universities. I believe in meeting each student where they are and helping them grow at their optimum pace. My goal? To make learning less stressful and a lot more joyful and productive. When not tutoring, I'm coaching sports, traveling or SCUBA diving. I hope to make your child shine both in and out of the classroom.
