About Kiara

I come from a big family so caring for children has always been a natural and important part of my life. Over the years I've gained a wide range of childcare experience from newborns and toddlers to teenagers. I've worked in an afterschool program where I managed my own classroom of fifth graders, planned engaging activities, helped with homework and organized sports to promote health and fitness. I'm also CPR trained and have experience in a home care program providing support for children with special needs. In addition, I've babysat for families with kids of all ages including newborns, toddlers and teens and I've volunteered to care for children during retreats. I bring both professional and personal experience, along with a warm, caring approach. I'm comfortable balancing fun and structure, whether that's helping with learning, creative play or simply making sure children feel safe and loved
