About Kimberly

I recently moved to North Carolina from California to be closer to my elderly mom. I am the mother of four grown sons and grandmother of a 3-year-old granddaughter and 1-year-old grandson. I was a licensed childcare provider in my California home for 28 years, caring for newborns up through school age. I am happy to provide you with many references from families whose children I've cared for over the years. I absolutely adore children and caring for their needs. I enjoyed planning many age-appropriate activities for the children that I cared for in my home and love to spend time playing, reading and even singing to them. I miss the children that I cared for in California, and I'm still in touch with them and their parents. I attended a university for two years, but left to get married. Since then, I've have taken numerous college classes in early childhood education. I was an infant/toddler caregiver at a large daycare in Northern California for five years. I am currently employed in an Animal Emergency Hospital, and I'm looking forward to caring for children part-time.
