I love cats. My husband is not too fond of pets in our small space so I am unable to have one at the time. I always pet and play with others' pets. I had the experience of caring for a friend of the family's cat, Teddy, a few years back while living in Philadelphia. On my first visit to the home, I simply went up to pet Teddy. Teddy was old and didn't warm up to most people. I scratched his back, belly and nose and it was love at first sight! I actually started to visit more often to see Teddy and he would run to the door the second he heard my voice. Some time later the friend had to leave town for a while and asked me to care for Teddy. I was more than happy to and I kept Teddy for an entire month or so in my home. I played with him and fed him as instructed. I think we spoiled each other and even when the job was over I still went over to Teddy because I knew he loved the attention. I would give your cat the same loving attention and would be happy to follow your instructions
