When I was young, I often helped take care of my grandmother when she began getting sick. I made sure she took her medicine on time and paid close attention to how she was feeling each day. I also helped my mom by preparing simple meals, like making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and giving my grandmother a banana to eat. Through my care and attention, she stayed as healthy as possible and was not seriously ill. From a young age, I have always been someone who looks out for others, making sure everyone around me is healthy, safe, and truly okay.
