About Kira

Hello! My name is Kira, I'm a UCSC psychology graduate, EMT, circus teacher, and currently taking prerequisites at Cabrillo for nursing. I LOVE working with kids! I grew up in Berkeley, CA and started babysitting at around 13 years old. By age 16 I had been involved with over 12 families with up to 3 children. I've worked as a counselor and performing arts skills teacher at Camp Winnarainbow (a sleep-away summer camp for kids ages 7-14) for the past 4 summers, and volunteered as a "teen leader" for 2 before that. I now teach youth aerial arts in Santa Cruz too. I'm experienced in pet care, semi-fluent in Spanish and love to cook. I'm located in Aptos and am looking for families that need occasional childcare. Although I have experience with all age groups, I have a special place in my heart for caring for infants and toddlers:) I'm happy to share my resume, references and answer any other questions.
