I'm American, a US citizen, recently returned to WA after 5+ years in Finland, where I worked in memory care units in 2 eldercare homes. While I worked, I studied. I was in the last year (2/3) of "närv rdare" (akin to a practical nurse) studies when I left. I've taught seniors yoga; was a boatyard project manager, and I once ran a nonprofit org. And I'm a mother of 2 university students. My dear mom is in eldercare and I think of each client as someone's loved one. I find great purpose in supporting seniors and their families. I love the sea and I race/sail. I like to hike, travel, and spend time with family and friends. When I'm sitting still, my nose is in a book. I enjoy history and languages.
