About Kiyomi

Hi! I'm Kiyomi - a second-year MBA student at Howard University with a concentration in Finance. I bring over six years of experience in caregiving, camp counseling, and tutoring. I earned my undergraduate degree in Theater from NYU, so I naturally bring creativity, energy, and imagination to my work with kids. Whether it's arts and crafts, outdoor play, storytelling, or games, I love keeping children engaged in ways that don't revolve around screens. I'm also a strong academic tutor and enjoy helping students build confidence in school. In addition to childcare and tutoring, I'm happy to help with cooking and housekeeping. I've also been a competitive equestrian and still ride today - so I'm very comfortable caring for pets. I'm patient, warm, and adaptable. I've worked with multiple children at once, served as a teacher's aide, and know how to balance structure with fun.
