Hi! I'm Kristin! I'm a third-grade math and science teacher on hiatus for graduate school in educational leadership. I have taught at the elementary level for four years (2 years teaching 4th, 2 years teaching 3rd) after receiving my bachelors in elementary education, all subject areas, K-6. In my years of teaching, I have specialized in math instruction, teaching with a culturally-responsive and universally designed lens to support all my learners. I have also led and trained other educators in math instruction and creating calm, safe, and inclusive, classroom environments. I have tutored at the 2-5th grade level in primarily math, but am comfortable shifting between subjects.
