About Kristina

Kristina is the most caring , loving, professional caretaker you will ever find. She took care of my 80 year old aunt for the past 14 months in a nursing home until my aunt passed away this week. We live in another state so we really needed someone who would be our eyes and ears in the nursing home . Kristina was so professional and cared for my aunt as if she were her own mother . She advocated for her when needed at the nursing home and kept in constant contact with me and my mom through texts , FaceTime and videos . My aunt eventually suffered from dementia , could only read lips to hear and could not get out of bed without the lift . My aunt loved Kristina with all her heart . Kristina quickly became family . She kept her so clean and would buy her food and treats or anything she wanted just to get my aunt to smile . While my aunt many times would not allow nursing home aides to change her she would allow Kristina . Kristina was the one that could convince my aunt to take her medicines bc she often refused to take them from nursing home employees . Kristina is a living angel that I truly believe God sent to us to help my aunt live her final year with dignity , love and compassion . I met Kristina through care.com and would highly highly, highly recommend her to anyone . There are not enough words to describe my family’s gratitude for Kristina’s care . Several times she went to the nursing home at night to check on my aunt who was calling for her or if she was in distress . My aunt would call Kristina over and over by phone in the middle of the night asking when she was coming and Kristina would answer the phone assuring my aunt that she’d be there in the morning . Kristina went above and beyond any job description. Kristina is a highly skilled aide who is funny , extremely intelligent, easy to talk to and an extremely dedicated caretaker . My aunt was an extremely challenging case but Kristina was well trained to care for elderly patients with dementia .
