About Kristina

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, kind, and empathetic. I like tutoring because I care about how student's perceive themselves. I love helping them find their way through and see that they bring something amazing to the table as well! I'm looking for a job that serves students and families in the ways that they need. I started tutoring when I was in college. In the past 3 years, I have been a math tutor. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and pets. I love reading and watching various sports. I love creating a relationship of trust that gives all of a space to express concerns and then work our way out of them. I am credentialed in Special Education teaching as well which has given me a skill set supporting all types of students using trauma informed practices and empathy. My skills include curriculum accessibility, math through high school geometry, English including grammar, writing, etc.
