About Kristin

My name is Kristin, I worked in EMS as an EMR for 10 years so I'm skilled in ambulatory needs/proper transferring/assistive devices; itinerant work style, I have a good understanding of medical care/diseases/disorders/physical therapy/medications/hospice. I was my father's caretaker after his diagnosis of ALS. I was a physical assistant to a young professional with muscular dystrophy for 2 years. My duties entailed assisting with his hobbies, PT, traveling assistance, pet care, cooking/cleaning/organizing. I was more recently a caretaker for a woman with late stage Alzheimer's and also a woman with multiple health issues that required as much compassion as it did medical knowledge. My own interests include crafts, refinishing furniture, playing guitar/singing, writing and photography. I am a natural caretaker, compassionate and receptive to individual needs as well as anticipate what those needs will be before directed.
