I have taken 3 years of American Sign Language in high school. I am currently learning beginner Mandarin Chinese. I have 9 years of experience working in childcare facilities and in home childcare, and I have taken courses at the Texas Tech Child Development Research Center. I have worked with infants through school aged children. I truly care about providing positive guidance for children to help them achieve the important milestones in their development. Letting children play, explore their environment, and use their imagination are the best tools for their developmental success. I enjoy art projects, reading, and outdoor activities. Kristin has been so great with our toddler in the last year that we’ve hired her for date nights, evenings out, errands, etc. When we tell our son that Kristin is coming, he literally says, “Kristin? Yay! I love Kristin!” It’s so refreshing to have someone that our son is excited to hang out with. She focuses on his development and helped with the potty training, learning, nap routines every time she babysat for us. She’s also great about keeping us informed on their time together with texts and pictures! I’d highly recommend Kristin for all your childcare (and even pet care) needs!
